Compress Different Types of Files And Data

7 - Zip  is a free and open-source file archive, a utility used to place groups of files within compressed containers known as "archives". It is developed by Igor Pavlov and was first released in 1999.  7 - Zip  uses its own  7z  archive format, but can read and write several other archive formats. First Download the 7-Zip Files as you required by clicking below:- C lick Here After you click on the Download  1. Your will have file with name 7z2201-x64.exe 2. Double click on the file to install it Click on the marked button to download the installation file.

For Installation Follow The Following Steps:- Step 1:- Right click on the download file and run as administrator as show in the figure below:- Step 2:- After run as administrator you will get following windows click on install Step:3- After the complation of installation you will get below windows  Step 4:  To make sure the installation was done you can click on the start button on the keyboard and you can see the recent file installed software marked  as shown in the picture. Now you 7-Zip is installed on you computer  To learn to Use 7-Zip read other post on the blog 

For Extracting File Follow Following Steps:- Step 1:-   Find the ZIP file  you have download like shown in the figure below (here is qb64 for the example). Step 2:- Right click the file and extract as shown in the figure below:-  Note:- I have extracted to desktop as an example by right click to the file ---> 7 Zip ---> extract here (may take a while depending on the size of files you have downloaded.). You can extracted any where you want within you computer. After the extraction you will get the folder like this one as shown in the figure below as per the example. Note:- After extraction you can use your file as per you requirement.

To learn to zip a file follow the following steps: To zip only single file: Step 1: Find the file you want to zip  1st Right click on the file that you want  to zip 2nd Click on the send to option 3rd click on the compress (zipped ) folder After clicking to compress (zipped) folder, your will get folder as show below and option to rename the zip file. Now you can rename the file and ready to use it.
